College Football | Bet on NCAA Football Games

The NCAAF or College Football is the highest category of the university league and with the greatest sporting potential in this sport and which has the third position of popularity in the United States, plus it offers excellent opportunities for college football betting.

In the United States, college football is governed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

This sport began as a variant of Rugby in the nineteenth century, its beginning in the Americas started in Canada by English soldiers and was gradually varied to become the modern college football. The first recorded competition was in 1902 when the University of Michigan defeated Stanford University.

The NCAA is made up of 127 teams which are grouped into two subdivisions. The Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) is made up of the best teams, this in turn is divided into ten conferences and the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) is made up of the other teams. The FBS have always been considered the division with the best teams and that is simply because of the requirements that have to be met.

The FBS and the FCS have their differences, so let's name a couple to see why there are so different. Starting with their scholarship system, the FBS gives 63 full scholarships, while the FCS gives partial scholarships, but never at the level of the FBS, another difference is the amount of public they must have in each of their games, the FBS must have an average of 15,000 people, while the teams that make up the FCS do not need to meet this requirement. At the end, main difference between FBS and FCS is how a final winner is determined. The FBS has the four-team College Football Playoff while the FCS hosts a 24-team playoff for the NCAA D-I Football Championship.

Players who compete in College Football can aspire to win the Heisman trophy, the highest award given to the best player in college soccer, this award is given after the regular season of the competition before the Bowl Games.

The Bowl Games are one-time games in which the two best teams of the season face off for the title of American soccer champion.
