Baseball | History

KBO is the only league in the world that plays its tournament in the months of April to September and a major difference between MLB and KBO, is that Korean teams are named after the company or the sponsors that own the franchise. In Mexico this Mexican Pacific League, also known as the LMP, is the winter baseball championship and the regular season is from October to December, in January the play-offs. The league itself is made up of 10 teams, and the team with the most championships won is the Naranjeros de Hermosillo. When summer comes along, the championship known as the LMB. The LMB is affiliated with the minor leagues of the United States and it is the league with the most coverage by the national media. The baseball league is made up of 16 teams and its season takes place from April to August. The team with the most winnings in the LMB is the Red Devils of Mexico.

In South America we have the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League, better known as the LVBP. It is made up of eight local teams competing in the months of November at the end of January of the following year, founded on December 27, 1945.
